Work Requirement 1 (Assessment Task 1) - Research Task
Work in pairs 1. Define: a. renewable energy b. non-renewable energy 2. Think of as many forms of energy sources as you can. List them in a table under the headings renewable and non-renewable. 3. Chose an energy source from your list above and investigate it. You will be required to present your investigation to the class. Include the following in your investigation: a. 10 key facts b. How it is used? c. Where is it used? In the world and in Australia. d. The positives and negatives of the energy source. e. The costs of using it. f. Any political issues that may be associated with it. g. The impacts on humans, other organisms, and the environment.
